Description Brian 2008-02-29 15:17:10 UTC
The commit named "AVIVO: disable dithering on DFPs"(46547ae8bdbc5c10f1fd028b95ec4c5c31a5b318 I believe) on xf86-video-ati introduced improper color output on my LVDS display.

A gradient image, will show discrete bands going from the start color to the end color.

That's the commit I traced it back to; The problem is on the current git as well.

Chip: R500 x1400 mobility on a Dell e1505.

Thanks.
