"1. Go to http://www.asus-advantage.com/web/descargas/get_NB_pricelist.php
2. The above link downloads a PDF file from ASUS (sorry about the advertisement), called 200802_ES_NB_PVP.pdf.
3. Open the PDF file with Evince
4. Go to (for instance) page 3

You can see an obvious bad kerning in the text. If you open the same PDF file using Adobe Reader, the kerning is correct, and the font is different from the one used by Evince.

Sample document uses a large number of non-standard fonts that are not embedded.
It will only render correctly on a machine with the Adobe Font Folio CD installed.

The proper fix is to fire your graphic designer.
