Description Andreas Juch 2008-10-13 11:45:24 UTC
Hi!

I tried todays git-version of the radeonhd driver, but it still has problems with my card/setup. There are two screens (1680x1050 and 1280x1024) connected to both DVI-ports of the card. If I start gdm with the supplied xorg.conf, then both screens run in clone-mode (1280x1024). If I run xrandr --output ... --auto, the smaller screen blanks and outputs "No signal detected". If I manually set both screens to the correct resolution, the smaller screen says "Out of range". I tried a lot in xorg.conf, but setting preferred-mode for both screens only gave me a "widescreen-clone mix" where both screens are in clone mode, but i can move the mouse out of the visible area.

I hope everything needed to find the cause is attached.

Best regards,
Andreas

I just tried the new version 1.2.3, no changes. I also forgot to mention, that the card is a "Sapphire Radeon HD 3470", passive cooled.
