Wait, xedit has users? (In reply to comment #1) > Wait, xedit has users? I use it daily, save a few cases where I would use vi (due to not having X) or ed (due to not having /usr or vi) I also used emacs before, and once I typed gedit by mistake. Now I believe Jason also uses it, and I was told there was another guy in Brasil that used it some years ago :-) I was delaying a new release as the last one was done recently, and there aren't many changes, besides this bug correction. But I will make another one, that also requires a new Xaw (also with very small changes) to have all known regressions corrected. Thanks for the bug report. Xedit 1.1.2 should correct this problem, as well as some other regressions. If there is a mandriva xedit package, and Mandriva can collect usage statistics, you could get a better idea of how many users you have. Also remember, for every user who contacts you, there are many more users who haven't contacted you. :-) Thanks for rolling out the new release so quickly. I told the Debian x11-apps maintainer, who is very responsive; I am sure it will be packaged in Debian soon, and in a released Ubuntu within 6-12 months. Marking verified. |
