Created attachment 20936 [details] Xorg.log startx results in a completely white screen when using the 'radeon' driver. This is a quite new (purchased in September 2008) Asus F8VA-B1 laptop. The 'vesa' driver works; 'fglrx' compiles (including the kernel module) but does not work. This is an up-to-date Debian Lenny installation with a custom-compiled kernel (version 2.6.27.8). 'radeon' was compiled directly from the git repository, so this should be the most up-to-date version. Xorg.log attached.
