When I opened the document in Konqueror (using the same Okular/poppler PDF plugin), it did not crash. Downloading the file and opening it in Okular or xpdf also worked. I could only reproduce this bug in Akregator. Looking at the backtrace doesn't seem a poppler bug at all, in my opinion there is something in akregator that is messing with poppler and making jpeg_CreateDecompress fail when it should never ever fail, i've reopened the kde bug. |
