Description Roland Scheidegger 2009-08-04 16:43:49 UTC
doom3 only runs at about one third to about half the performance it used to (due to #22372 I can't get a full benchmark run, and due to #23142 the numbers in r200 mode are questionable but this happens in arb mode, which looks ok, too). Quick profiling didn't show much user cpu consumption, though the top consumer was legacy_is_pending, with lots of time spent in the kernel. So not sure what makes it wait for the gpu that much more than it used to. (Tested without kms and with dri1 so kms can't be blamed, and this is mostly compressed textures so texture tiling shouldn't really influence this neither.)
