Ah, I didn't know that. I thought it just disabled/enabled dpm.......well, it works so that's good.

It would be great if it worked out of the box though, without having to add kernel parameters.....

setting dpm=1 uses the new powerplay code rather than the old dpm code for
power management on CI parts.
