From edb16e51a3e9398e52d39b2a7a013e475ebedbcf Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Chris Wilson Date: Thu, 9 Sep 2010 19:52:29 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] drm: Use a nondestructive mode for output detect when polling MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Destructive load-detection is very expensive and due to failings elsewhere can trigger stalls of up to 600ms. A simple first step to correcting this is not to invoke such expensive and destructive load-detection automatically.
