Description Bas Zoetekouw 2007-09-02 09:05:23 UTC
I'm not sure what's going on, but a while after I close the lid of my laptop, Xorg starts using 100% cpu. After I open the lid again, the cpu usage goes back to normal (i.e. 0%) and I see nothing weird.

Stracing during the 100% cpu usage doesn't show anything (i.e., no output at all). Also, there are no acpi events at that time.

Does this still occur with a newer Xserver? If so, does it occur if you turn DPMS and/or ACPI off?

I've no idea if this is still an issue. I have a new laptop for which the problem doesn't occur, and I havent' seen the problem since. Feel free to close the bug.

Mass closure: This bug has been untouched for more than six years, and is not obviously still valid. Please file a new report if you continue to experience issues with a current server.
