Hi there,

Looking forward to developer access. Thanks! I've probably done something wrong. Just let me know :)

Thanks,
    Anthony

Did you really mean to ask for CVS write access for GStreamer and not some other project?

If yes, have you been contributing patches to GStreamer in the past? Could you point us towards them (either bugs in bugzilla or ChangeLog entries)?
Comment 3 Anthony Durity 2008-04-21 23:21:33 UTC
I primarily intend to work on GStreamer but I will contribute to any and every project I can. No, I haven't contributed patches yet. If I'm in the wrong place please let me know - I didn't realise that I had already to be an active and currently contributing dev. I thought getting an account here was a first step. Apologies for wasting your time.

Anthony: we usually expect people to have contributed to GStreamer via bugzilla, IRC and/or the mailing lists for an extensive period of time, and across a range of libraries/elements, before we offer them CVS write access (you can check out GStreamer read-only via anonymous CVS without a developer account). We should probably make clearer in the documentation (if there is anything you saw no the website or in our docs that's particularly misleading, please file a bug in http://bugzilla.gnome.org or let us know on IRC)

Looking forward to your contributions :)
