I'm not sure how to do that as I need to return a const char*, and can't append them and return a char* -- got any ideas? I do very little programming in C but I think your assumption you cannot write to a const char * is wrong. After all, _() (shortcut for gettext()) returns a char *, so it is writing to const char *. If I'm wrong, please close this bug as WONTFIX because it's really not worth the effort. Here's something that may help: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080913101931AALnVP9 We moved the upstream bugtracker to GitHub a long time ago. If this issue still affects you please re-create the issue here: https://github.com/hughsie/PackageKit/issues Sorry for the impersonal message, and fingers crossed your issue no longer happens. Thanks. |
