Seems to work for me with git master. This behavior still exists in gnome-packagekit-installer 3.10.1-1 ... I have been observing this behavior with various versions of packagekit for several years now. If the search text is highlighted and then pasted over (as opposed to typed over) the interface behaves as if the user pressed Enter (the right pane blanks, as if searching, and the search field locks, then the right pane populates with the prior search's content and the search field unlocks). Example case: -i search for nano -i get results for nano -i highlight "nano" in the search field, then paste "gimp" by pressing CTRL-V (also tried by right-clicking and selecting "Paste") -the search field text is changed to "gimpnano" (or sometimes "nanogimp"), the search field is locked, and the right pane goes blank -after a moment, the search field unlocks and the search results for nano reappear -if i repeat the process at this point, the search field text changes to "gimpgimpnano" and it says no search results We moved the upstream bugtracker to GitHub a long time ago. If this issue still affects you please re-create the issue here: https://github.com/hughsie/PackageKit/issues Sorry for the impersonal message, and fingers crossed your issue no longer happens. Thanks. |
