Description Cosimo Cecchi 2010-03-11 01:59:14 UTC
To reproduce:

- download an rpm from koji
- do `pkcon install-local mycoolpackage.rpm`
- an "Authorization required to install signed package" password dialog pops up, insert the password
- after some seconds, another "Authorization required to install untrusted package" password dialog pops up.

The first dialog is useless, as the package is not actually signed, and should not be presented to the user.

What version PackageKit? We fixed this fairly recently.

I'm currently using Fedora 13, with the latest updates (as of yesterday).

PackageKit-0.6.2-0.1.20100225git.fc13.i686
gnome-packagekit-2.29.4-0.2.20100211git.fc13.i686

This does not happen anymore.
