Not reproducible under LO 4.2.5.2 - Ubuntu 12.04 x86 not reproducible under Win7x64 using 4.2.5.2 try upgrading. if issue persists it's Linux specific. OS: Kubuntu 14.04 (64-Bit) Version: 4.2.4.2 Build ID: 420m0(Build:2) The update repo don't go past 4.2.4.2 version. I will have to manually download and install it from the website with no other Kubuntu users will do. Hi Saimon, use this PPA instead for 4.2.x : https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/libreoffice-4-2 I saw 4.2.5.2 available there for Trusty. And don't forget to reset user profile.. I did sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade and it did not upgrade the LibreOffice. Then I did the following: 1. I uninstalled all LibreOffice. 2. I downloaded the latest and unzipped it. 3. ran: sudo dpkg -i *.deb Now I have: LibreOffice Version: 4.2.5.2 Build ID: 61cb170a04bb1f12e77c884eab9192be736ec5f5 It runs faster and it focuses upon open (which the last version did not). Very stable when opening large csv files and no crashes. The rename Sheet clipboard bug no longer exist. In the future I will add the PPA which I usually try to avoid for many reasons. Thanks. - ** You may mark this bug as resolved ** Yes it's recommended using official PPA for Ubuntu based machine. Anyway the main PPA which provide latest release is: https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/ppa You could also choose spesific PPA for any major branch in that page. We set RESOLVED WORKSFORME for bug reports without fixing commits. |
