Did this work with any previous versions of the radeon driver? IIRC, dualhead has never worked right on certain IGP chips. Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future. This is probably not chip dependent. I can confirm exactly the same behaviour for a X300SE PCIE card and a similar setup with two 1680x1050 monitors. The primary screen (DVI-D) shows a normal signal, the secondary (VGA) displays only a black screen. The black image is a correct 1680x1050 signal, though. IIRC, the IGP cards only have one DAC, and I'm not sure it's configured right in all cases. Your issue seems to be related to the DRI, at least according to your email. this should work with the latest driver code in ati git. Can you confirm?
