Note that I sometimes have to click URLs in xchat-gnome up to three times before it takes effect, even on Xorg. Third time's the charm, as they say. ;) Me too, but this isn't that. They don't work no matter how many times I click. (FWIW, ctrl+click seems rather more reliable than bare click in X11). Sounds like https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=754983 Basically gtk+ supporting different backends, gio was trying to set the wayland display for X11 apps, which they did not really understand... Fedora 21 is old now, does it still happen with a current version of gnome/gtk+/glib/mutter/Xwayland/firefox, in a word F24? I *think* this was working normally (i.e. it worked if I clicked enough goddamn times) while I was running Wayland on F23. I stopped doing that recently because of https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=758958 , which makes me want to punch things. Marking as fixed, please reopen if this isn't the case. I've no idea, I switched to hexchat years ago :) |
