Description mpiechotka@nvidia.com 2017-01-23 07:22:26 UTC
W530 hangs (black screen, does not react on power button) on nouveau load when EFI booted in dock and iGPU is disabled in BIOS. When I boot EFI outside dock it does not happen even when I dock the laptop before loading kernel. It does not happen with our (nVidia) driver. It seems to be relatively new regression (I can reproduce it in 4.8.x kernels but I don't remember having this issue few months back).

I cannot reproduce problem when the internal LCD is primary display instead of external one.
