Description Matthias.Schroder 2017-08-30 13:26:53 UTC
Starting glxgears on a centos 6 box opens an XQuartz window that display the usual gears, but the gears never move. Stopping the execution of glxgears on the linux side leaves the windows with the gears open.

The framerate announced by glxgears appears to be incorrect:

Oops, now I notice that minutes after I have stopped glxgears I see a tiny movement of the gears, and then the window disappears.

Any hints how I can debug this?

It's likely not a real issue. This is a common observation.
