xorg log file

Hello,

my setup:
- Thinkpad T470s with Thunderbolt 3 and integrated Intel HD Graphics 620
- Sonnet eGFX with Radeon RX580

When i plug in the Thunderbolt cable, my Xorg crashes. After the Xorg restart i can login and use xrandr to enable my external displays.

I attached the my Xorg log. I plugged in at timestamp [ 62.384]
This is my first bug-report, please be lenient if i submitted with wrong or incomplete information given.

Lucas

Does it work properly if you use the amdgpu xorg driver rather than modesetting? Please also attach your dmesg output.

Looks like a glamor issue.
Comment 3 Lucas P. 2018-04-05 12:37:39 UTC
What is a glamor issue?
How do i set Xorg to not try modesetting before using amdgpu? I tried disabling modesetting entirely in the kernel (via grub) but then my internal Intel Card is not working anymore.
