Description Hubert Figuiere 2007-05-24 13:07:33 UTC

I would like to request the creation of the project Exempi to host it on Freedesktop.org

Exempi is an XMP implementation released under the BSD license and based on Adobe XMP SDK released under the same license.

It is usefull for software that implement metadata, like desktop search, file browser, etc. as well as digital photography software.

The owner of the project could be me ('hub' on freedesktop)

The project need the following:
-git (the repository is currently in annarchy:~hub/exempi.git)
-website with wiki
-bugzilla project

Thanks a lot

any update? This project is now used by various desktop technologies, including Tracker and CC liblicense. libopenraw (hosted here) will also depend on it.

and a mailing list exempi-devel would be great too :-)

This project sounds like it falls under the banner of bug 10114.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 10114 ***

I don't see the relation. this has nothing to do with xesam. exempi is a completely different thing.

> In regards to bugzilla I need:
> o List of components for the xesam product & description for each
> o Default email address for bugs to go to (this can be the new list)

one component is enough
hub@figuiere.net for the default assignee is good.

Done, git repo shifted (original left in tact), bugzilla setup, mailing list setup

Let me know if you have any problems.
