Logs as described on https://amdgpu-install.readthedocs.io/en/latest/install-bugrep.html

The installer script (amdgpu-installer) puts this error out:
"Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 4.18.0-25-generic (x86_64)"

In the end I got: "WARNING: amdgpu dkms failed for running kernel"

Hi,

This is NOT A BUG, you installed 18.40-697810 which doesn't build with kernel 4.18.0-25.

You have to install more recent version of driver.

Minimum required version to build with kernel 4.18 is 19.10-785425.
Consider installing latest release 19.30-838629.

Cheers
