As noted on the initial Gentoo bug report, the SiS driver fails when compiling against a DRI enabled mesa/xorg-server. Find attached the build log, if you still need anything just ask.

i think i fixed this in git a while ago (commit 
ba3c4d45d6e8f04536e6512103db820f0d21b77a).
