Created attachment 14704 [details] [review] 0001-Add-libpciaccess-support-to-generic-vga-driver.patch I posted this patch at xorg@ some time ago. Posting again to avoid it being lost. The driver isn't really functional, but if the patch to reenable the missing function mfbChangeWindowAttributes aka xf1bppChangeWindowAttributes is added, at least there will exist no missing symbols...
Created attachment 14889 [details] [review] 0002-Compile-warning-fix.patch Minor "cosmetic" extra patch, don't define a symbol not used when libpciaccess is used.
Created attachment 15857 [details] [review] 0001-Compile-warning-fixes.patch Remade in a single patch as patch2 was also related. Note that the vga driver needs compiling the X Server with --enable-mfb as it is not built by default anymore.
It compiles and is usable is special cases.

Fixed in commit 97e2d12548921d92b6dc2dcce8abee48f25981d2. The driver is expected to be functional only in a very few special cases, that include using the console in an standard vga mode, and from basic tests, it is only working at 320x200 8bpp (i.e. mode 0x13).
