Description Dave Shield 2008-06-20 08:29:50 UTC
When working with the Fedora 9 DVD, this is automatically
mounted as
    /media/Fedora 9 i386 DVD
             (i.e. including whitespace)

Running the command

   gpk-install-file "/media/Fedora 9 i386 DVD/Packages/{whatever}"

fails with the error

   Can't install /media/Fedora

Unmounting the disk and remounting manually on a mount point
which doesn't contain spaces, everything works fine.
(Both running this command manually, and double-clicking the
package from within the Nautilus view)

It would be useful if the default setup Just Worked.

You need to update to the latest version of PackageKit as this bug has already been fixed in rawhide and f9-updates. Thanks.
