Description Nathan Gray 2003-12-30 18:43:26 UTC
I am having trouble compiling the CVS version of fontconfig (downloaded 29 Dec
2003), The final errors issued by 'make' are:

jade:/etc/sgml/catalog:2:8:E: cannot open
"/usr/lib/sgml/stylesheet/dsssl/sgmltools/sgmltools.cat" (No such file or directory)
Done.
mv local-fontconfig-user.txt fontconfig-user.txt
mv: cannot stat `local-fontconfig-user.txt': No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [fontconfig-user.txt] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/ext/sandbox/fontconfig/doc'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/ext/sandbox/fontconfig'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

It appears this may have something to do with SGML, some file that I don't have.
I would like for the docs not to be created, rather than have 'make' die. I
don't comprehend enough of what is going on to be able to know how to better
describe the problem, nor how to get fontconfig installed.

It looks like your jade installation is incomplete. You can disable building
the docs with --disable-docs.
