Description Steven Coté 2008-12-13 03:38:43 UTC
This is similar to bug #18506, but I thought it was different enough to warrant a separate bug report.

When installing multiple packages using gpk-application, I'd like to see a summary of all the packages that are about to be installed (after dependencies are calculated) and more importantly, I'd like to see the total size of the packages that I'm about to download.

My ISP offers a fixed amount of bandwidth per month, but usage is unmetered after midnight, so I like to save large downloads for off-hours. Sometimes when selecting packages to install, several dependencies can be pulled in and it's impossible to tell if I'm looking at a couple MB to download or hundreds to download.
