Why is search disabled while installing or upgrading? Searching is a readonly action, so it shouldn't (in my opinion) be scheduled after other operations
I forgot to say I'm using fedora. But also in ubuntu the search is scheduled.
Limitation of yum I'm afraid. We used to allow stuff like this to happen in parallel, but bad things happened.
I can use yum (from the terminal) to search while upgrading and yum does not complain. Are you sure that this thing is dangerous?
