If I'm attaching an USB device and it should be mountet hal-storage-mount get a segmentation fault and produce a core file. This happens every time I'm attaching an USB storage device. Installed package versions are linux-2.6.29.3, glibc-2.10, glib-2.20.2, udev-142, dbus-1.2.14 and hal-0.5.12 on a LFS system.
