Description Ivan Baidakov 2009-08-16 06:04:29 UTC
Kernel panic always occurs on poweroff.

I have the following lines in xorg.conf:
Section "Device"
        Option "DRI" "on"
        Identifier "Card0"
        Driver "radeon"
        VendorName "ATI Technologies Inc"
        BoardName "RC410 [Radeon Xpress 200M]"
        BusID "PCI:1:5:0"
EndSection

If I switch off the DRI option, than the kernel panic newer occurs. I can't grab backtrace in /var/log/messages, so I photoed the backtrace. I hope, this will help. As I can see, the backtace is different from noted in bug #22078.

A kernel panic is a kernel bug. If you use the drm and radeon kernel modules that come with the kernel, please verify if it still happens with Linux 2.6.30 and if so report it to the kernel bugzilla.
