Description Jonathan Thomas 2010-01-31 20:24:16 UTC
Using PackageKit 0.5.6

While using the aptcc (not apt) backend, words in the description containing "o" as their second letter will have this "o" replaced with a "-". This occurs both with KPackageKit 0.5.6 and PackageKit-GNOME 2.29.2. The behavior is not present after switching to the python apt backend.

A package this is easily seen in is the "bzr" package. (Look for the words "s-ftware" and "h-st")

I'm not seeing this issue on PackageKit 0.6.8.

Okay, please reopen if it comes back. Thanks.
