hi, i'm using gentoo linux and the "xorg-server" package in version xorg-server-1.7.6 - unfourtunatly, i cant tell which official xorg-version that correspons to. the gentoo guys told me ( https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315973 ) to file a bug report here. heres the summary: after the update to this version, some screen parts where not accessable by mouse. i have two screens, not of the same size (1440x900 left of 1280x1024 aligned to bottom), and when i move the mouse to the secondary 1280x1024 screen, in the upper region (presumably in the upper 124 pixels), the mouse get invisible and also appears on the buttom line of that screen - which is a really wired behaivor. i found that i could workaround this problem by aligning both screens to top and setting relativ ("Left Of") positions instead ob absoult ones. another gentoo users says ( https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315985 ) "That also happens with the xorg-server-1.8.0." (which is currently the latest version in gentoo). Lars
