XServer log from the freeze

System: Debian Squeeze/Sid
Kernel: 2.6.34
xserver-xorg: 7.5
xserver-xorg-core: 1.7.7
xserver-xorg-video-ati: 6.13.0
Mesa: 7.8.1
DRM: 2.4.20
RanR: 1.3.0 (1.2.0 used)
ATi Mobility Radeon HD3430 (RV620)

After setting my laptop to use the external monitor as another head neighbourghing the laptop screen via RandR (KRandRTray app actually), the setup seems to work for a while and then the screens go black and the machine stops responding to whatever input, Alt+SysRq combinations included.

No information is written into the logs (at least not to my knowing, is there a way to send it to the different machine?), KMS is enabled.

Whatever other info you need, I'll try my best to provide.
