There is some improvement with the 2.6.35 kernel. The game doesn't segfault anymore... Instead, as soon as the level is loaded, the whole screen goes black (even though the game is windowed). If I press enter, the game continue for a sec, then the black screen is back. If I press Escape, I can see the menu without having the screen going black and exit the game "normaly". Tested with mesa 7.8.2. Also, the output of dmesg is noisier.
Please try it again with the r600g driver, preferably with mesa 7.11.
