Very same machine from https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28267 The regression was introduced by 53ac06161eb2b8cffb1b88e24a9a21cfd12e5883 After that revision (and before bug 28267) the screen works, but moving an window causes strange visual artifact, like the last pixels from the right or left boarder to be garbage (apparently ate least). Everything works perfectly with 7a044472dfea7cf05ba4c2b87be30e94e2ae0b62.
please attach your xorg log and dmesg.

Same thing happens with 0c2834e67df6e143a7d15f373faaddca1dda6b18 on a Fedora 14. Reverting to 7a044472dfea7cf05ba4c2b87be30e94e2ae0b62 still fixes it.
Is this still an issue with a newer driver/kernel?
(In reply to comment #5) > Is this still an issue with a newer driver/kernel? Unfortunately yes, but I have never been able to get KMS working because of bug 27314. Not sure if this is related.
Mass closure: This bug has been untouched for more than six years, and is not obviously still valid. Please reopen this bug or file a new report if you continue to experience issues with current releases.
