I see a mouse cursor but cannot move it. No log file. I can run X with radeon OR intel drivers but not both. Not even sure where to start debugging. strace -f -o /tmpoutfile is empty as well.
I should add that I am using the conf that Xorg -configure created.
Created attachment 37344 [details] xorg.conf (one driver or other is commented out)
Created attachment 37345 [details] [review] last dmesg
Make sure your kernel has radeon kms support. kms is likely the only way this will work. your dmesg only shows intel kms messages.

If this is reproducible in a supported release, it will help immensely if you filed a new report with Ubuntu by ensuring you have the package xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button for attaching additional debugging information running the following from a terminal: ubuntu-bug xorg Also, please feel free to subscribe me to it.
