Running Xorg -configure and then Xorg -config xorg.conf.new with the radeon driver selects DVI as output. Monitor turns off, as no signal comes from HDMI. Please enable KMS or upgrade your ddx (xf86-video-ati) to 6.13.2. You are currently using 6.13.0 which has some bugs with digital outputs on evergreen cards.
Thanks a lot, the new version works without problems.
