I'm using an Apple Cinema Display 20". It has a native resolution of 1680x1050. No other native resolutions seem to be supported. As the radeon driver does not support GPU scaling for DVI connected displays (as far as I understood), it's currently not possible to run other resolutions on this display. Please add this (IMHO very basic) feature.

Also pleas allow scaling while keeping the aspect ratio of the resolution (i.e. adding black areas left/right or top/bottom.

I'm running this display connected to a Radeon X800(R420).

I'd like to second this request, please. I find trying to use a mouse on a screen with the incorrect aspect ratio very disorienting, specifically in games which don't support my monitor's native resolution.

Mass closure: This bug has been untouched for more than six years, and is not
obviously still valid. Please reopen this bug or file a new report if you continue to experience issues with current releases.
