System Environment:
===================

O.S. - Ubuntu-10.10(32 bit)
Asic – RedwoodXT[Radeon HD 5670]
CPU  - Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 CPU 6300 @1.86GHz

Steps to Reproduce:
===================

1) Connect display : DFP
2) startx
3) xrandr  --output  DVI-0  --rotate  left
	Or
   xrandr  --output DVI-0  –reflect  x

Observation:
-------------
 System gets hang. Keyboard and Mouse are not working but able to ping the system IP.

Additional Information:
-------------------------
Issue can't be reproducable with RV730XT
Issue can be reproducable with JuniperCE[Radeon HD 5700]

The xf86-video-ati you're using is REALLY old!

Rotation requires acceleration. As fas as I know acceleration for evergreen isn't avaible in that old version. You'll need to use the git version.

Could you please try the git version and report back if the problem is solved.

Issue can't be reproducable with the latest git build. Closing the bug.
