Image of monitor when the error occurs

Hi,

Today after I update my system (an arch linux x86-64) I get a mesh in the screen when I run openoffice or libreoffice. (The attachment image explain the "mesh").

After analyzing the X log I did not find anything unusual. But I was sure there was some problem or error with the configuration or driver of the video card.

I solved the problem by adding:

Option "ColorTiling" "false"

in the xorg.conf, at the section of video device. After this when I restarted the XServer libreoffice and other programs works well. To make sure, I commented the ColorTiling line, and the problem appeared again.

I share this information for if is useful to anyone.

I don't know if it's a bug in the driver or a configuration error, anyway here is reported.

Information about versions:

Kernel: Linux Arch Linux 2.6.37-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Jan 29 20:00:33 CET 2011 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux

Radeon driver: xf86-video-ati 6.14.0-1

Module radeon: compiled for 1.9.3.901, module version = 6.14.0

Good Luck!
