Description tmmoody 2011-02-23 14:40:24 UTC
The "Open..." button in the Start Center has two clickable regions: one invokes the "Open" file browser, the other invokes a dropdown menu of the recent file history. A vertical line indicates the (ostensible) border of the two regions.

However, clicking anywhere on the orange outline of the button invokes the file browser, even if the user clicks on the side that should open the file history dropdown menu.

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:

The right side of dropdown button still cause the dialog action.

This is definitely a duplicate of an already fixed bug. I can not find it right now though. It should have been closed in 4.0 or 4.1, I think. :/
