Forwarding this bug from Ubuntu reporter Grant Likely: http://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/740655 [Problem] Incorrect colour map for xv on radeon driver. See screenshots for comparison. [Original Description] XV video output with the radeon driver (at least I assume it is a driver problem) produces incorrectly coloured video output. The effect can be seen from the gstreamer-properties application by selecting both xv and no xv options in the video tab and clicking 'test'. I'll attach screen shots of the good and bad output. It looks fine here. Make sure some app didn't mess up the Xv attributes for the Xv ports (e.g., check if XV_BRIGHTNESS, XV_SATURATION, etc. are set to 0) Use xvinfo or xvattr to check.
Fix released downstream.
