Description Seal948 2011-07-26 11:55:00 UTC
I upgraded from OOo 3.2.1 and now LO pops up the same message when I try to use the paragraph menu, the print menu, the character menu. It happens in Write as well as Draw and Calc. They all say "Cannot Load Library lxbcprp.dll Using defaults Error #126". I have tried all the fixes suggested on the OOo forum and it hasn't solved anything. While it doesn't make LO inoperable it sure is frustrating having to punch the OK button anywhere from 4 to 30 times to continue. It happens when I enter any of the Format menus as well as when I go to print a document (this is the worst occurance).

I am using:
OS Name	Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version	5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600
OS Manufacturer	Microsoft Corporation
System Name	ACTION
System Manufacturer	ECS
System Model	P4M900T-M
System Type	X86-based PC
Processor	x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 7 GenuineIntel ~2659 Mhz
BIOS Version/Date	American Megatrends Inc. 080013, 12/4/2006
SMBIOS Version	2.3
Windows Directory	C:\WINDOWS
System Directory	C:\WINDOWS\system32
Boot Device	\Device\HarddiskVolume1
Locale	United States
Hardware Abstraction Layer	Version = "5.1.2600.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)"
Time Zone	Pacific Daylight Time
Total Physical Memory	1,024.00 MB
Available Physical Memory	210.77 MB
Total Virtual Memory	2.00 GB
Available Virtual Memory	1.96 GB
Page File Space	2.33 GB
Page File	C:\pagefile.sys

I am a writer and have reverted to OOo 2.4 until this this problem can be rectified. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reply. As I understand, problem remains.
Please, try this for solve this problem:
To copy the printer driver files to the System32 folder, follow these steps:

In Windows Explorer, locate the following folder:
On a computer that is running a 32-bit version of Microsoft Windows, locate the following folder:
        drive:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\W32X86\3
On a computer that is running a 64-bit version of Windows, locate the following folder:
        drive:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\X64\3
Press and hold CTRL, and then click each printer file.

Note Each printer driver file has a file name that resembles the following:
        lx**prpb.dll
        lx**prpr.dll
        dl**prpb.dll
        dl**prpr.dll
Note ** is a two-letter designation that is associated with the printer.
With the printer driver files selected, right-click the files, and then click Copy.
In Windows Explorer, locate the following folder:
    drive:\Windows\System32
Right-click the System32 folder, and then click Paste.
