Created attachment 49790 [details] Conditions on Play and no-Play OS: Ubuntu 9.04 LO: LibreOffice 3.4.0 build 12 with zh_TW language pack. Steps: 1> Create an empty slide. 2> Insert a picture (jpg or gif) into the slide. 3> Select the picture inserted, right click mouse button then select "interactive..." 4> Select "play audio" and pick up media files with ogg/wav/mp3 suffix. As long as the media file is stored under a directory with "non-English characters," it won't play. (See the left picture in the attachment.) By changing the directory to an "English only" one, Impress can play the audio now.(See the right picture in the attachment.) Thanks in advance. :) Best, Peter. w

Dear bug submitter! Due to the fact, that there are a lot of NEEDINFO bugs with no answer within the last six months, we close all of these bugs. To keep this message short, more infos are available @ https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/NeedinfoClosure#Statement Thanks for understanding and hopefully updating your bug, so that everything is prepared for developers to fix your problem. not reproducible in 3.6.1 on Fedora 64 bit, used Russian characters in path, ogg format of audio. I think status should be WFM
Tested also on 3.5.4.2 Ubuntu 12.04 and Chinese characters in path. 3.4 is unmaintained, 3.5.7 and 3.6.3 are last stable maintained versions so marking this as WFM.
