Description Konstantin Svist 2011-08-15 19:34:00 UTC
After enabling RADEON_TRACE_FALL 1, this message is displayed quite often in the log:
[ 2760.705] R300CheckComposite: Solid or gradient pictures not supported yet

Most prominently, when I ran "tail -F /var/log/Xorg.0.log" in a terminal, it doesn't start printing it until some content scrolls off-screen -- and then it starts printing ad infinitum.

Is this something fixable or is it "supposed to be like that"? If fixable, I'm not sure how to describe it to the owners of terminal

It's a missing driver feature.

Mass closure: This bug has been untouched for more than six years, and is not
obviously still valid. Please reopen this bug or file a new report if you continue to experience issues with current releases.
