xkbdata does not include the fr-latin9 keyboard map

It was included in XFree86 6.8, monolithic Xorg-x11, has a sister map in kbd, is
referenced in redhat/fedora linux anaconda installer for uncounted releases (as
fr-latin0 at first) etc

It is now included as the "latin9" variant of the "fr" keymap.

So the way it's selected in xorg.conf has changed ?
Comment 3 Remy Oudompheng 2005-11-15 18:48:15 UTC
Something like
  Option "XkbLayout" "fr"
  Option "XkbVariant" "latin9"

should work. You can also use "setxkbmap fr latin9".

Ok, this works.
Guess I "only" have to open bugs in all the keyboard utilities to get the new
way supported then now :(

While I'm at it, did any other map changed ?
