Description Patrick Ohly 2012-07-29 18:36:00 UTC

---- Reported by patrick.ohly@intel.com 2010-04-09 08:58:46 +0000 ----

When the server initiates the sync, it knows the expected sync mode. It should verify that the client obliges and that neither client nor server have to fall back to a slow sync, just as it is already done when an HTTP client starts a sync (http://bugzilla.moblin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2416).

Discussion with Synthesis points towards a solution for the server side that requires new scripts to be added, something that Lukas wants to do at some point ("detecting slow syncs" on the Synthesis list).
