BUG DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS
===========================================================
We failed to do two-way sync with mobical. Then, log on to its website, find the www.mobical.net is automatically redirected to www.everdroid.com (please see attachment).

Developer, please confirm that change. If so, we need to know: will we support mobical in the future? High priority to get answer. Thanks!

Syncing still works for me. Nightly testing did not run for a while, so I don't know whether it works there when using the PRC HTTP proxy.

Please include the HTTP log file of a failed sync.

As long as I don't hear otherwise from the product owners, I intend to treat everdroid as the successor of Mobical. Same company and code anyway as far as I can tell, so basically this is just a renaming.

Is the syncURL still http://www.mobical.net/sync/server since Mobical.net changed to everdroid.com ?

http://runtests.syncevolution.org/2011-04-01-21-30/head-evolution-testing/nightly.html#mobical

shows that testing still succeeds with the old sync URLs. I'm in a crunch and won't have time to update the Mobical template. Deferring until later.

I installed Sync on my Ubuntu 12.4 (64 bit) laptop and after some research chose Mobical as my SyncML service. As noted in this thread, Mobical has changed its name to Everdroid. I set up an account on Everdroid, tested it on my phone by capturing sms messages to my laptop, then went to sync using Sync. It coudn't log in. I kept getting "Failed to login. Could there be a problem with your username or password?" I tried resetting those to no avail.

The Mobical config template in SyncEvolution still works. But Everdroid uses per-device username/password combinations. After logging into their web site, use "Set up my phone", "manual setup", then sync with SyncEvolution using the username and new password shown to you.
