I'm not sure which certain version of X.org I have. I've installed the graphics stack from "x11" overlay (gentoo), so, it should be pretty new (most probably from git, as well as ati driver and mesa). At the moment, I can start Xorg (only with disabled ColorTiling2D) with twm and few xterms. `glxinfo` reports "Gallium 3D on SUMO" in the OpenGL vendor. `glxgears` works without errors; But after running `glxgears -fullscreen`, I get black screen, which starts (slowly) to corrupt.
