I have the Libreoffice screen corruption (looks like https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=76629) only with AccelMethod "glamor". AccelMethod "EXA" (default) does not show any problems. My setup: Kernel 3.8.6, openSUSE 12.3, xf86-video-ati-7.1.0, Mesa 9.1, ATI Radeon HD 3450
